While we adore Grandma's classic recipe, it's time to shake things up with a healthier, high-protein version that will leave you guilt-free and satisfied. Say hello to our refined sugar-free, protein-packed Sourdough Banana Bread! At just 150 calories and 8 grams of protein per slice, this delicious treat makes for the perfect breakfast or snack. My whole family loves when I make this Healthier, High-Protein "BB" Banana Bread with Greek Yogurt and Cottage Cheese!

I highly recommend investing in a kitchen scale to measure your ingredients - especially when it comes to whole wheat flour! Plus, you'll have less measuring cups to clean.
Ingredients:
- 2-3 ripe bananas (250g) 
- 100g cottage cheese 
- 60g Greek yogurt 
- 50ml milk of choice 
- 1 egg 
- 50ml honey 
- 1 tsp vanilla 
- 1/8 tsp salt 
- 90g oat flour 
- 100g whole wheat flour (Bob's Red Mill or your own, freshly milled flour) 
- 1 scoop or 24g vanilla whey protein powder 
- 2 tsp baking powder 
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). 
- Mash the bananas in a bowl until smooth. 
- Blend the cottage cheese, Greek yogurt, and milk in a blender cup until smooth. 
- Combine the blended mixture with the mashed bananas in the bowl. 
- Add the egg, vanilla, and honey, and stir to combine. 
- Incorporate the oat flour, whole wheat flour, protein powder, baking powder, and salt into the mixture and stir until well combined. 
- Pour the batter into a loaf pan lined with parchment paper. 
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. 
- Slice and enjoy your healthy, high-protein banana bread! 
Store any leftover baked banana bread in the fridge to keep it fresh.
